Civil Engineer

Job Summary

The Civil Diploma Engineer will assist in planning, execution, and supervision of civil construction activities at site. The role involves ensuring work is carried out as per drawings, specifications, quality standards, and safety norms.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in site execution of civil works such as RCC, masonry, finishing, roads, drainage, and foundations
• Read and interpret construction drawings, layouts, and BOQs
• Supervise daily site activities and coordinate with contractors and labor teams
• Ensure work is completed as per approved drawings and technical specifications
• Monitor material usage and maintain site records and measurements
• Prepare daily progress reports (DPRs) and assist in billing measurements
• Ensure adherence to quality control and safety standards
• Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and site engineers
• Assist in resolving site-related technical issues
• Maintain proper documentation of site activities

Qualifications

• Diploma in Civil Engineering (from a recognized institute)

Experience

• 5 years of experience in building structure and finishing

Skills & Competencies

• Basic knowledge of construction methods and materials
• Ability to read AutoCAD drawings
• Familiarity with quality and safety procedures
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Basic computer skills (MS Office)
• Willingness to work at construction sites

Work Environment

• On-site construction environment
• May require working extended hours based on project needs
