Civil Engineer (Steel & Power Industry)

Job Purpose

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Civil Engineer with strong expertise in industrial projects within the Steel and Power sector. The role requires proficiency in AutoCAD, site supervision, structural design, and construction management. The Civil Engineer will play a critical role in ensuring that all civil works meet safety standards, design specifications, and project deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and modify AutoCAD drawings for industrial layouts, civil foundations, and structural works.
• Plan, design, and oversee the construction and maintenance of building structures, plant facilities, and infrastructure.
• Conduct feasibility studies, site investigations, and risk assessments.
• Supervise contractors and construction teams to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely project completion.
• Collaborate with project managers, mechanical/electrical engineers, and operations teams.
• Ensure compliance with IS Codes, safety norms, and industry standards.
• Monitor use of materials, equipment, and manpower to prevent wastage.
• Maintain project documentation, progress reports, and quality checklists.
• Troubleshoot site issues and provide technical guidance to junior engineers.
• Ensure adherence to budgetary guidelines and timelines.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD (mandatory).
• Solid understanding of industrial construction practices (preferably in the Steel & Power sector).
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (B.E./B.Tech).
• Minimum 5–10 years of experience in industrial civil projects.
• Prior work in Steel / Power plants will be mandatory.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
