Civil Engineer

As a Technical Support Engineer at Mace, you will provide technical support to the project team, focusing on primary and secondary control, dimensional verification, and quality control activities related to structural trades. Your responsibilities will include: - Establishing and maintaining secondary control on the project from primary control. - Providing dimensional control for main contractor works. - Conducting defined inspections to allow Mace verification of the works. - Compiling comprehensive quality records and ensuring they are updated and maintained. - Reviewing design information to determine if there are sufficient details to construct the works. - Acting as a Temporary Works Supervisor (TWS) as stipulated in Mace's Temporary Works procedure. - Maintaining a detailed site diary and ensuring accurate updates and maintenance. - Providing coaching and guidance to junior team members. - Developing working relationships with internal stakeholders. - Working collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition and sharing responsibility for proactive identification and management of associated carbon emissions and reductions during work delivery. Qualifications required for this role: - Bachelor's degree in civil engineering. - Experience in the relevant field.
