Civil Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Supervise day-to-day civil construction activities at site to ensure adherence to drawings, technical specifications, and contract conditions.
• Review and verify contractor’s work programs, method statements, bar bending schedules, and shop drawings.
• Monitor construction progress and quality of work in line with KIIFB standards.
• Conduct site inspections, material testing, and verify compliance with IS codes and relevant standards.
• Ensure safety protocols and environmental guidelines are followed at site.
• Maintain detailed site records including measurement books, site instructions, test results, progress reports, and photo documentation.
• Assist in resolving technical/site issues and coordinate with design consultants for clarifications.
• Participate in joint inspections with KIIFB officials, client departments, and quality audit teams.
• Certify interim and final work measurements for contractor’s bills as per site progress.
• Prepare snag lists and support in project completion, handing over, and defect liability inspections.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 

  3–7 years (Degree)

   / 

  7–10 years (Diploma)

   of relevant experience in site execution/supervision of infrastructure projects.
• Prior experience in government-funded/public sector infrastructure projects preferred.
• Strong knowledge of civil engineering codes (IS/IRC/MoRTH) and quality control practices.
• Good communication skills in English and Malayalam (preferred).
• Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders including government officials, contractors, and consultants.
