Civil Engineer - Estimator

As a Civil Engineer - Estimator at the US Based Company located in Ahmedabad, you will be responsible for estimating costs for commercial construction projects. Your primary responsibilities will include: - Conducting cost estimation, bidding, and proposal preparation for commercial construction projects - Utilizing your knowledge of commercial construction materials, methods, and practices - Reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, and floor plans - Using estimation software and tools such as PlanSwift, RSMeans, or similar for accurate estimations - Collaborating with the team and working independently to meet project deadlines To excel in this role, you must meet the following qualifications and skills: - Diploma or bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field - Professional certifications like Certified Professional Estimator (CPE) are preferred - Previous experience as a Commercial Civil Estimator or in a similar commercial construction-related position - Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD - Strong analytical and mathematical skills with attention to detail and accuracy - Excellent problem-solving abilities - Willingness to work night shifts from 4.30 PM to 1.30 AM - Exceptional English communication skills Please note that this position is a 100% desk job and requires strict adherence to the specified night shift timings. The salary for this position ranges from Rs. 15,000 to Rs. 35,000 per month based on the candidate's knowledge and experience.
