Civil Draftsman/woman

Skills & Qualifications:

· A degree or diploma in Drafting, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.

· Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar CAD software.

· Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry standards.

· Ability to read and interpret engineering/architectural drawings.

· Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

· Good communication and coordination skills.

· Minimum 2–4 years of relevant experience in civil drafting (experience requirement varies with role level).

Work Environment:

· Office-based with occasional site visits.

· Collaboration with design, engineering, and project management teams.

The Civil Draughtsman is responsible for preparing detailed technical drawings, plans, and layouts for civil engineering and construction projects. They work closely with engineers, architects, and project managers to convert conceptual designs and sketches into precise, executable drawings in compliance with industry standards and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

· Prepare and develop detailed 2D drawings for civil and structural works.

· Draft plans, sections, elevations, and construction details using AutoCAD or other CAD software.

· Ability to prepare design sketches, KSMART submission drawings, and detailed working drawings in line with project requirements and standards.

· Interpret architectural and engineering sketches, ensuring accuracy and clarity in drawings.

· Maintain and update as-built drawings and project documentation.

· Coordinate with engineers, architects, and site teams to incorporate modifications.

· Ensure all drawings comply with company standards, and client requirements.

· Maintain drawing registers and ensure timely delivery of drawing submissions.
