Civil Drafter

As a Civil Draftsman at our company, you will play a crucial role in supporting the design of various solar PV systems for industrial, commercial, and utility-scale projects. Your main responsibilities will include: - Preparing site layout drawings such as Module mounting structures (MMS) foundation layout, PV layout plan, Inverter and control room placement, AC/DC Cable trench routing, Switchyard and transformer foundation drawings, AC & DC SLDs, Fencing and approach road layout. - Generating detailed civil GA drawings, plans, and sectional views. - Drafting pile layout drawings, RCC pedestal details, and equipment foundation drawings. - Updating drawings based on site topography, survey data, and geotechnical reports. - Creating as-built drawings, good for construction drawings (GFC), and revisions. - Ensuring all drawings comply with relevant IS codes and project-specific structural and electrical design norms. - Coordinating with site engineers, structural consultants, and project managers. - Maintaining drawing control registers and document logs. To qualify for this role, you should have: - Educational Background: B.E. / Diploma or ITI in Civil Engineering / Draftsmanship from a recognized institute. - Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D) & SketchUp is mandatory, along with familiarity with MS Office. - Experience with ground-mounted solar layout principles, survey-to-drawing conversion using topographic maps, urban planning & site development plans, and civil BOQ preparation support. - Professional Attributes: Detail-oriented and accurate, able to interpret civil and electrical design inputs, strong coordination and documentation skills, and the ability to work under deadlines with minimal supervision.,
