Civil Drafter

As a Civil Design Draftsman, you will support engineering teams in creating accurate and quality deliverables on site grading, erosion control, surface preparation, stormwater management systems, and infrastructure utility layouts. Working under the direct supervision of a Lead Civil Engineer, you will coordinate with multiple disciplines, apply engineering standards, and work towards process improvement while learning new tools and technologies. Responsibilities: - Prepare design and drawings on Site infrastructure for Renewables, especially Solar, BESS, Transmission & Distribution, and Substation projects - Verify and check deliverables are in line with company and client standards - Develop design deliverables such as Grading, drainage, erosion & controls, fencing, roadways, stormwater design, plan & profiles using AutoCAD and Civil-3D - Maintain and implement CAD standards - Advise improvements on company standards, systems, and document control procedures - Ensure accuracy and compliance of deliverables with quality standards - Perform basic computations including bills of quantities estimates and dimensional checks - Assist in coordination and collaboration with other disciplines to ensure consistent project delivery - Utilize CAD and modeling applications to develop design documents - Support internal clients and understand external client interests - Share and seek knowledge of new technologies (including AI) and engineering practices You will experience a sense of pride in recognizing that you play a crucial role in the organization, and your contributions are valuable to the success of your clients, team, and yourself. Requirements: - Diploma or Certificate in Drafting or Engineering Design (Associate Degree preferred) - Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in an engineering or technical role - Experience in land development and site infrastructure design projects - Experience in preparing civil engineering construction and permitting drawings - Knowledge or Proficiency using AutoCAD Civil3D and modeling tools, Google Earth, Global mapper or equivalent for preparing grading plans, developing surface models, and earthwork quantities - Basic understanding of engineering and drawing creation practices - Understanding of coordinate geometry and land surveying - Familiarity with quality control, document control, and cross-disciplinary coordination - Strong time management and problem-solving skills - Ability to work in a team and adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced, and date-driven environment - Working level experience on US Renewables/BESS Projects is preferred - Proficiency in Microsoft (MS) Office Suite - Good communication and grasping skills,
