As a Technical Director - Highways Design and Drainage at Arcadis, you will be a crucial part of the global team dedicated to delivering sustainable design, engineering, and consultancy solutions for natural and built assets. Your role will involve collaborating with UK counterparts to provide technical delivery support on highways and infrastructure projects, ensuring excellence in quality and efficiency. Qualifications Required: - Education: Masters degree in Transportation/Highway Engineering. - Experience: Minimum of 20+ years in Infrastructure Design Consulting as of May 31, 2025. - International Exposure: At least 10 years of experience in international multi-disciplinary projects, delivering highway/roadway design and modelling tasks. - UK Standards: Strong knowledge of UK design standards (DMRB, local county council). - Design & Build Projects: Proven experience in Design & Build projects. - Professional Certifications: Chartered or internationally recognized professional status (e.g., CEng, MICE, MIHT, MCIWEM). - Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. - Leadership & Strategy: Strong organizational skills with the ability to contribute to strategic decision-making. - Cultural Awareness: Open-minded, conscientious, and excellent communication skills essential for the role.
