City Manager - Flipkart Minutes - Hyderabad

About the Role:

As a City Manager for Flipkart Minutes, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire citys Quick Commerce operations, ensuring seamless coordination across multiple clusters and dark stores. You will lead a team of Cluster Managers and drive operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and business growth. This role demands strategic thinking, strong leadership, and a deep understanding of supply chain dynamics in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own end-to-end city operations including inventory, warehousing, last-mile delivery, and customer experience.
• Lead, mentor, and manage Cluster Managers and their respective teams.
• Ensure adherence to SLAs, safety protocols, and operational standards across all clusters.
• Drive continuous improvement in delivery speed, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Planning, HR, Finance, Tech) to support business goals.
• Monitor and analyze operational metrics to identify areas of improvement and implement corrective actions.
• Manage city-level escalations and proactively resolve customer issues.
• Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and company policies.
• Support expansion plans including new store launches and process transitions.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Experience:

  10+ years in operations, logistics, or supply chain management, preferably in Quick Commerce or E-commerce.

• Leadership:

  Proven experience in managing large teams and multi-layered operations.

• Education:

  Bachelors degree in any discipline (MBA preferred).

• Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Proficiency in data-driven decision-making and reporting.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing business needs.
• Knowledge of local geography and language (Tamil preferred).
