Job Description

As a Sales Manager, your primary responsibility will be to drive the growth of distribution and market share in the assigned area of operations. You will be expected to enhance visibility and accountability through extensive QR and Sound box deployment while focusing on the sale of the product. Identifying and recruiting a sales team to align and drive business in the market will be crucial for your success in this role. Your role will also involve planning the market size, span, and geographies for ASMs, as well as devising the best methods for communicating plans and targets to the team to minimize the expectations versus delivery gap. Additionally, you will be monitoring the quality parameters as suggested by the management and conducting audits on the acquisitions and sales completed by the team. Managing a large team of 5-10 ASMs and over 200 indirect employees will be a key aspect of this position. Therefore, it is essential that you possess good networking capabilities and are willing to travel extensively throughout the specified area. Your skills in coaching, mentoring, and quick learning will be instrumental in grasping and applying new ideas and concepts effectively. To succeed in this role, you should be a self-starter capable of taking ownership and comfortable navigating ambiguity. With 8-12 years of experience in sales, particularly in business development and B2C markets, you should have a passion for working in fast-growing firms and handling large teams. Articulating complex solutions to novice customers, possessing good sales and negotiation skills, and having experience in quota-driven sales are essential for this position.
