Job Description

The Voice Setup Architect will design and implement enterprise-grade voice communication systems for new office environments. This includes PBX, VoIP, SIP trunking, and integration with collaboration platforms, ensuring high availability, security, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities

Voice Architecture & Design

Develop
High-Level Design (HLD)
and
Low-Level Design (LLD)
for voice infrastructure.
Define call routing, dial plans, and numbering schemes.
Design SIP trunking and PSTN connectivity for local and global offices.

Implementation & Deployment

Configure PBX systems, VoIP gateways, and session border controllers.
Integrate voice systems with
Microsoft Teams
,
Zoom
, or other UC platforms.
Ensure QoS policies for voice traffic across LAN/WAN..

Security & Compliance

Implement encryption for voice traffic and secure signaling protocols.
Ensure compliance with telecom regulations and organizational standards.

Testing & Optimization

Conduct acceptance testing for call quality and failover scenarios.
Monitor and optimize voice performance post-deployment.

Required Skills & Competencies

Expertise in
VoIP technologies
, SIP, RTP, and PBX systems.
Hands-on experience with
Cisco CUCM
,
Avaya
, or similar platforms.
Knowledge of
Unified Communications
and collaboration tools.
Familiarity with QoS, VLANs, and network fundamentals.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
