Chinese Translator

Job Overview:

We are looking for a skilled Chinese / English Translator to support end-to-end business operations by providing accurate spoken and written translation between Mandarin Chinese and English. The role involves working closely with multiple teams across departments to ensure smooth communication during meetings, training sessions, and daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide real-time verbal interpretation between Chinese and English during meetings, discussions, training sessions, and operational interactions.

- Translate documents, emails, reports, presentations, technical notes, and business communications between Chinese and English.
- Support communication across all departments, including operations, procurement, sales, training, technical, management, and administration. - Ensure translations are clear, accurate, culturally appropriate, and context-based. - Assist teams in interactions with Chinese-speaking partners, trainers, vendors, customers, and stakeholders. - Maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and accuracy in all communications.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English (spoken and written). - Proven experience in live interpretation / spoken translation. - Strong understanding of business, technical, and operational terminology. - Ability to translate quickly and accurately in fast-paced environments. Excellent listening, communication, and interpersonal skills. - Basic knowledge of MS Office tools. - Preferred Qualifications (Operational) - Language certifications such as HSK, TOEFL, or equivalent. - Experience working in corporate, manufacturing, technical, or cross-functional environments. - Prior experience working on-site with Chinese teams.
