Job Title: Chief Operating Officer (COO) Location: Kancheepuram Chennai, & new one in Sri city Industry: HVACR Reports To: Board of Directors Interested candidates must contact : S Krishnan 8309618146 Introduction: A leading organization in the HVACR industry, with three operational manufacturing facilities two in Kancheepuram Chennai, & new one in Sri city catering to diverse industrial and commercial clients. Role Overview: The Chief Operating Officer (COO), responsible for full-spectrum operations of the company, encompassing manufacturing, supply chain, customer delivery, profitability, and team leadership. The incumbent will act as a strategic partner to the board, driving operational excellence, sustainable growth, and financial performance. Key Responsibilities: P&L and Business Ownership: Own and drive the full Profit and Loss (P&L) of the organization. Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with long-term financial goals. Monitor and improve gross margins, cost of production, and overheads. Collaborate with the team for budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning. Ensure lant-level and company-wide performance meets revenue and profitability targets. Operations & Manufacturing Excellence: Oversee daily operations of all three plants across Pune and Ahmedabad Ensure high-quality, timely, and cost-effective production and delivery. Implement and monitor KPIs for production, quality, safety, and TAT. Drive process standardization, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement. Customer Satisfaction & Delivery: Ensure all customer orders are fulfilled on time and as per specifications. Build strong relationships with key clients and support business retention. Collaborate with sales and service teams to align operations with market needs. Team Leadership: Lead a team of plant heads and department heads across functions. Drive performance culture, accountability, and leadership development. Inspire cross-functional collaboration for operational efficiency and innovation. Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure adherence to all regulatory, statutory, and safety norms. Identify and mitigate operational and supply chain risks. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelors Degree in Engineering; MBA preferred. Minimum 15 years of experience, with at least 5 years in P&L ownership or multi-plant leadership. Proven track record of leading operations in HVACR or similar capital goods manufacturing industries. Strong financial and commercial acumen. Ability to lead in both structured and entrepreneurial environments.
