Description
The Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) at EaseMyTrip.com will be responsible for defining and leading the overall marketing vision and execution for one of India's largest online travel platforms. You will oversee the full spectrum of marketing from brand strategy and digital growth to performance marketing, partnerships, and customer engagement. Your role will involve ensuring that EaseMyTrip continues to deliver compelling, data-driven, and innovative marketing campaigns, while pioneering new ways to build customer loyalty and market share. This leadership position requires a balance of strategic vision, creative direction, and analytical expertise, shaping brand presence that directly influences millions of travelers globally. You will define and execute the marketing roadmap, aligning campaigns with business objectives while mentoring high-performing teams across brand, digital, and growth functions. It will be your responsibility to build and strengthen EaseMyTrip's brand identity, positioning, and narrative across domestic and international markets. You will lead campaigns across SEO, SEM, PPC, display, retargeting, social media, and affiliates to maximize ROI and scale customer acquisition. Additionally, you will drive impactful content strategies and influencer collaborations to enhance visibility, engagement, and customer trust. Your role will involve leveraging market research, data analytics, and segmentation to understand traveler behavior, optimize campaigns, and personalize experiences. You will be tasked with building strategic partnerships with airlines, hotels, OTAs, and travel/tourism boards to strengthen brand positioning and distribution reach. Collaborating with product and technology teams to align marketing efforts with new feature rollouts and customer experience improvements will also be a key aspect of your responsibilities. Mentoring and growing a multi-disciplinary marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity, innovation, and accountability will be crucial. As the CMO, you will own the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of spends and measurable impact on revenue and market share. Representing EaseMyTrip in external forums, managing public relations, and driving corporate communications to enhance brand reputation will also fall under your purview. The preferred candidate for this role should have at least 10 years of experience in marketing, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership role, ideally in travel, eCommerce, or consumer internet sectors. A proven track record in brand management, digital marketing, and scaling customer acquisition in high-growth environments is essential. Deep understanding of SEO, SEM, PPC, social media marketing, performance marketing, and affiliate ecosystems is required. Strong ability to interpret analytics, optimize campaigns, and implement data-backed decision-making is crucial. Ability to craft compelling brand stories, campaigns, and customer experiences across multiple channels is a must. Experience building alliances with global brands, tourism boards, and ecosystem partners is highly desirable. Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with experience managing large, diverse teams, are necessary for success in this role. Exposure to international marketing practices and scaling brands across geographies is highly desirable. A passion for leveraging emerging marketing technologies, AI-driven personalization, and new-age media to disrupt customer engagement is also important.,
