Chief Manager - Planning

The position of Chief Manager - Planning at Sterlite Power Transmission Limited involves reporting directly to the Project Director/Head of the respective project. The role encompasses overseeing both Capital and Expense projects of Transmission Grid, including the construction of transmission lines, sub-stations, and implementation of Smart Grid solutions. Key responsibilities of the role include project initiation, planning, implementation, dependency management, change management, supply scheduling, coordination, and reporting. The Chief Manager is also responsible for identifying project risks during the execution stage and actively participating in risk mitigation plans. Additionally, maintaining control over material supply, tracking statutory approvals, driving QHSE adherence, and ensuring timely RoW front creation are crucial aspects of the position. The position demands frequent travel to project sites to oversee project progress and ensure alignment with the planned timelines.
