Chief Financial Officer

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Strategy & Planning-

• Drive the companys financial planning and long-term strategy.
• Lead risk management initiatives to safeguard business interests.

Capital & Fund Management

• Ensure timely capital/fund raising through banks and financial instruments (Term Loans, NCDs, ECBs).
• Monitor and maintain sustainable cash flow.

Financial Analysis & Reporting

• Develop financial models, viability assessments, and DPRs for banks.
• Prepare and present accurate forecasting reports and monthly/quarterly P&L statements.
• Validate CAPEX proposals and advise on financial feasibility.

Budgeting & Performance Monitoring

• Oversee site-level MIS reporting and ensure timely submission to HO.
• Monitor actuals vs. budgets, perform root cause analysis of deviations, and implement cost optimization measures.
• Lead quarterly forecasts for sales, operational expenses, and cash flow.

Compliance & Audit

• Ensure timely closure of books in SAP with full compliance to accounting standards.
• Support internal/statutory audits and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with Group F&A policies and tax regulations (DT & IDT).

Operational Finance

• Oversee timely processing of customer invoices and vendor payments.
• Manage insurance-related documentation and incident reporting.
• Review and approve capitalization of fixed assets; reconcile CWIP ledger.

Risk & Governance

• Monitor financial risks and support mitigation strategies.
• Review monthly cost optimization dashboards and report to BU Controller.

Process Excellence & People Development

• Drive automation and technology initiatives in Finance & Accounts.
• Ensure continuous training and development of team members for efficiency and growth.

Required Skills & Certifications:

- Master's degree in accounting or business administration, or equivalent business experience and 10+ years of progressively responsible experience for a major company or division of a large corporation.

- MBA in Finance and the Certified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant designations would be an added advantage.
