Website: www.nanobag.com Role Overview Nanobag is seeking an experienced Part-Time CFO to own and professionalize our financial function as we scale globally across DTC, Amazon, wholesale, and B2B. This role is strategic but highly hands-on, covering cash flow, forecasting, entity structuring, cost control, and investor-grade reporting. You will work closely with the founders and operations team to ensure financial clarity, discipline, and scalability across multiple markets and entities. Time Commitment Part-time (approx. 8–20 hours per week) Flexible schedule, async-friendly Fully remote Key Responsibilities Financial Strategy & Leadership Act as senior financial partner to founders Build and maintain long-term financial models (growth, hiring, inventory, fundraising scenarios) Advise on pricing, margin optimization, and unit economics Support strategic decisions around expansion, wholesale, and new product lines Cash Flow & Forecasting Own cash flow forecasting across all entities and currencies Monitor burn rate, runway, and working capital Optimize inventory financing, payment terms, and supplier cash cycles E-commerce & Operations Finance Deep understanding of DTC, Amazon, and wholesale financials Track CAC, LTV, gross margin, fulfillment, shipping, and ad spend efficiency Partner with ops on inventory planning and cost control Review platform fees, payment processors, and logistics costs Compliance, Structure & Risk Advise on entity structuring, intercompany flows, and transfer pricing (with external advisors) Coordinate with tax advisors and auditors Improve financial controls, processes, and documentation Requirements Must-Have 5+ years of senior finance experience Strong background in e-commerce / DTC (Amazon experience a plus) Hands-on mindset — comfortable getting into the numbers Experience with multi-entity, multi-currency businesses Strong financial modeling and cash flow forecasting skills Startup or founder-led company experience Nice-to-Have Experience with inventory-heavy consumer brands Exposure to international tax/VAT structures Fundraising or investor reporting experience Familiarity with Shopify, Amazon Seller Central, and modern finance stacks
