Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

As a strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in our ecommerce startup, your role will involve overseeing all financial operations, leading a team of finance professionals, and partnering closely with founders for strategic planning and fundraising. Your responsibilities will include: - Overseeing all financial operations such as accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting - Leading and developing a team of 4 finance professionals - Partnering with founders on strategic planning, fundraising, and investor relations - Managing cash flow, financial modeling, and optimizing unit economics - Establishing financial controls, compliance frameworks, and reporting systems - Driving KPI tracking and providing actionable insights for business decisions - Supporting fundraising efforts and maintaining investor communications To excel in this role, you should have: - 7+ years of finance experience, with at least 3 years in leadership roles - A proven track record in ecommerce, DTC, or high-growth startups - Strong understanding of marketplace/ecommerce metrics (CAC, LTV, contribution margin, etc.) - Experience in scaling finance operations and building teams - Excellent communication skills to translate financials for non-finance stakeholders - Hands-on, collaborative approach with founder-level strategic thinking - CPA, CFA, or MBA preferred In addition to the above, the job offers benefits such as paid sick time and paid time off.
