Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

As the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Astrome Technologies Private Limited, you will be a key player in driving the company's financial success and ensuring its long-term stability. Your role will involve strategic financial leadership, efficient fund management, and optimization to support the company's growth. Below are the key responsibilities you will be handling: - **Financial Planning & Analysis:** - Develop and execute short-term and long-term financial plans, budgets, and forecasts. - Utilize financial modeling and analysis to aid strategic decision-making. - Monitor crucial financial indicators like cash flow, profitability, and return on investment. - Prepare and deliver regular financial reports to management and the Board of Directors. - **Fund Management & Optimization:** - Efficiently manage cash flow to ensure funds" optimal utilization. - Implement strategies to enhance working capital efficiency. - Supervise the company's treasury function, including cash management, investments, and risk mitigation. - **Financial Operations:** - Oversight of all financial operations, including accounting, tax, and treasury. - Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting following Indian GAAP. - Establish and uphold robust internal controls and financial systems. - Manage relationships with auditors and tax advisors. - **Compliance & Governance:** - Ensure compliance with Indian laws, regulations, and accounting standards. - Provide guidance on legal and regulatory finance matters. - Supervise corporate secretarial functions, including statutory records and governance compliance. - **Fundraising & Investor Relations:** - Develop and nurture relationships with investors and lenders. - Lead fundraising efforts for debt and equity, especially for significant project implementations. - Prepare investor presentations and materials for fundraising activities. - **Team Leadership & Development:** - Lead, mentor, and cultivate a high-performing finance team. - Cultivate a collaborative and results-driven work environment within the finance department. **Qualifications Required:** - Chartered Accountant (CA) from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) is mandatory. - Minimum 15 years of relevant experience as a CFO or in a senior finance role within a company. - Strong understanding of Indian GAAP and relevant accounting standards. - Proven expertise in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis. - Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other financial software. - Experience in sourcing working capital from banks and financial institutions is highly preferred.
