Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and manage the annual budget, including revenue projections and expense planning.
  • Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, TDS & GST Audit.
  • Manage and resolve departmental matters related to compliance with GST, Income Tax, MSME regulations, and other financial statutory requirements.
  • Ensure that financial practices comply with industry regulations and standards, including healthcare regulations.
  • Facilitate internal and external audits, ensuring that all financial records are accurate and accessible.
  • Manage the processes for invoicing, collections, and vendor payments.
  • Oversee the maintenance of the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately.
  • Lead and develop the accounting team, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Work closely with other departments (e.g., sales, operations) to support overall business objectives and ensure financial alignment.
  • Strategic Planning
  • Contribute to the companys strategic planning by providing insights and recommendations based on financial analysis.
  • Identify financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Regularly present financial insights and reports to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Engage with investors or stakeholders to communicate financial performance and future projections.
  • Oversee the implementation and maintenance of financial software and systems to streamline accounting processes.
  • Utilize financial data to support decision-making processes and improve operational efficiency.

Required Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelors/Masters Degree in Commerce or a related field/Qualified Chartered Accountant/ Company Secretary.
  • 7-10 years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial or leadership role.
  • Knowledge of Accounting, Book Keeping, Preparing and Finalizing Balance Sheet.
  • Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance standards specific to the medical device sector.
  • Strong understanding of financial principles, practices, and regulations.
  • Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Ability to lead and develop a finance team.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with various departments.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.
  • Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
  • Understanding of healthcare compliance, reimbursement processes, and related regulations.
