Chief Engineer -Mechanical

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Chief Engineer in the Mechanical Furniture Industry, based in Mysore. The Chief Engineer will oversee mechanical engineering projects, manage design and production processes, and facilitate collaboration among teams to ensure efficient project execution. Responsibilities include developing furniture designs using CAD software, conducting research and development for innovative solutions, and ensuring compliance with manufacturing standards. The role also involves leading project management efforts from concept to completion, emphasizing high-quality outcomes. Qualifications Proficiency in Mechanical Engineering and fundamental principles of machine operationsExpertise in Machine Design and Computer-Aided Design (CAD) for furniture manufacturingStrong capabilities in Project Management and delivering projects within deadlinesExperience in Research and Development (R&D) to innovate and improve product designs and processesExcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsStrong leadership abilities and effective communication skillsA degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related disciplineFamiliarity with furniture manufacturing processes and materials is an advantage
