Chemist - Production

As a Plant Operator, your role involves ensuring the smooth and safe operation of the plant. You will be responsible for CTCMP Distillation/MEE operation, maintaining process parameters as per defined SOP, and ensuring safety compliance and housekeeping in the area. Additionally, your responsibilities include: - Following the work-permit system and adhering to the shift schedule - Completing BPR, log sheets, and noting down plant readings regularly - Loading/unloading materials from drums, tanks, and receivers as per instructions - Reporting any deviations or abnormalities to the Shift In Charge and assisting in troubleshooting - Coordinating with the Shift In Charge for maintenance work - Undertaking non-routine tasks assigned by seniors - Demonstrating awareness of responsible care for Environment, Health, Safety, and Security Qualifications and Experience required for this role: - 3-5 years of experience in Continuous chemical process/batch process plant - Diploma in Chemical Engineering or B. Sc in Chemistry Key Competencies needed for this position include: - Operating knowledge of Continuous chemical process/batch process - Working knowledge of Reactors, filters, centrifuges in the batch process - Adherence to quality and safety norms - Knowledge of DCS/PLC based plant operation - Understanding of distillation operation - Experience in material handling of toxic/hazardous substances Please note: No additional details about the company are mentioned in the job description.,
