Job Description

Chemist WRS Plant (Chapparadahalli, Bengaluru)

Position:

Chemist

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct routine water quality testing (pH, TDS, COD, BOD, Alkalinity, Hardness, DO, Turbidity, MLSS/MLVSS, etc.).
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly lab reports for treated and raw water.
Ensure testing is performed as per standard laboratory procedures and client requirements.
Maintain the laboratory, calibration records, and chemicals inventory.
Support process team by highlighting any deviation in water quality parameters.
Coordinate with operations and maintenance teams to ensure smooth plant performance.
Maintain safety and hygiene standards in the laboratory.

Skills Required:

Strong practical knowledge of water & wastewater testing methods.
Hands-on experience in lab instruments: spectrophotometer, pH meter, DO meter, TDS meter, jar test, etc.
Good understanding of WRS / ETP / STP processes (preferred).
Strong documentation and reporting skills.
Ability to work independently and in coordination with the operations team.

Benefits:

Salary: 22,000 to 26,000 Gross.
