About us: SMS Café is a themed hybrid café we focus on fresh preparation, creative presentation, and a vibrant food culture. We are looking for enthusiastic and passionate hotel management freshers who want to kickstart their culinary career with hands-on training under experienced chefs. Position Overview: As a Culinary Intern – Café Operations Trainee, you will work closely with our Senior Chef and Kitchen Manager to learn every aspect of café kitchen operations—from preparation and cooking to hygiene and customer service. This is a full-time, on-ground learning role with growth potential into permanent kitchen positions. Key Responsibilities Assist in daily food preparation and cooking across all sections: Rice Bowls, Snacks, Grills, Fast Food, and Beverages Maintain hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety standards Support kitchen operations like chopping, mixing, grilling, plating, and packing Learn recipe SOPs, portion control, and café-specific food presentation styles Assist in inventory checks, stock management, and kitchen cleaning routines Take feedback and actively participate in learning new cuisines and kitchen skills Maintain a positive, energetic attitude in a fast-paced kitchen setup Eligibility Criteria Fresher or recent graduate in Hotel Management or Culinary Arts Passionate about food, cooking, and building a career in F&B Willingness to learn, adapt, and follow café SOPs Ability to handle pressure and multitask Basic understanding of kitchen hygiene and safety standards Career Growth Path First 3 Months: Hands-on training under Senior Chef After 3–6 Months: Role upgrade to Junior Chef / Kitchen Associate based on performance Long-Term: Eligible for promotions to Section Chef / Outlet Head as the brand expands Inclusions: 1 staff meal + tea/snack + uniform (T-shirt & cap) Performance Bonuses: Monthly incentives based on work ethic, hygiene, and speed Growth: Hike and promotion after 3–6 months of consistent performance Location SMS Café – Habsiguda Main Road, Hyderabad
