Evo Café is a premium lifestyle café in Kollam that brings together handcrafted beverages, baked delicacies, and an elegant ambience inspired by Starbucks-style cafés.
As part of the Evo Autohub & Café concept, the outlet combines a car wash & detailing studio with a modern café lounge, offering customers a unique blend of automotive passion and relaxing café culture.

We’re looking for a creative, experienced, and quality-driven Chef who can lead our kitchen operations — from donuts and pastries to signature mocktails and specialty coffee beverages — ensuring every customer enjoys a truly memorable experience.

Key Responsibilities Bakery & Dessert Section

• Prepare and decorate donuts, pastries, cakes, muffins, brownies, and cookies daily.
• Develop new recipes and seasonal desserts that align with café trends.
• Maintain consistency in taste, presentation, and quality across all bakery items.
• Manage baking schedules and ingredient inventory.

Beverage & Mocktail Creation

• Craft signature mocktails, cold brews, frappés, and specialty coffees.
• Experiment with flavor combinations to create unique beverages for Evo Café.
• Train baristas or support staff to replicate recipes with precision and consistency.

Café Kitchen Operations

• Supervise all kitchen activities, ensuring food hygiene and safety standards (FSSAI compliance).
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in preparation areas.
• Oversee ingredient ordering, vendor coordination, and stock control.
• Manage kitchen cost efficiency and reduce wastage.
• Coordinate with café management for daily sales targets, menu updates, and special promotions.

Team Leadership

• Train and guide kitchen assistants, bakers, and baristas.
• Foster a positive, professional, and creative work environment.
• Ensure smooth coordination between the kitchen and front-of-house staff.

Requirements

• Diploma / Certification in Culinary Arts, Bakery & Confectionery, or Hotel Management.
• 3–6 years of experience as a Café Chef, Baker, or Head Barista in a reputed café or bakery (experience in Starbucks, CCD, or similar setups preferred).
• Strong expertise in baking, plating, and beverage preparation.
• Creativity in developing modern café-style menus.
• Excellent communication in English and Malayalam.
• Ability to manage a fast-paced environment and lead a small kitchen team.
