Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Chef role at Dozen Delights located in Kozhikode. The Chef will be responsible for planning and preparing a variety of high-quality dishes, managing kitchen staff, maintaining cleanliness and safety standards, and monitoring food inventory and stock. Key duties include creating unique recipes, ensuring timely delivery of orders, and maintaining consistency in taste and presentation of dishes served. Collaboration with the team to create seasonal menus and managing kitchen operations efficiently are key components of this role.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Culinary Arts, including recipe creation, food preparation, and plating
• Strong knowledge of kitchen safety protocols and hygiene standards
• Team leadership and management skills to oversee kitchen staff
• Experience in inventory management and cost control
• Creativity in designing and developing innovative and appealing menu items
• Effective communication and organizational abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Previous experience in a similar role and certification in Culinary Arts are highly desirable
