Job Description

  • Food Preparation and Cooking:Preparing and cooking South Indian dishes according to established recipes and quality standards, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner service.
  • Menu Knowledge and Execution:Full awareness of all menu items, their recipes, and presentation standards.
  • Quality Control:Ensuring the quality and quantity of food prepared meets the required standards.
  • Hygiene and Safety:Maintaining a clean and hygienic kitchen environment, adhering to food safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Inventory Management:Assisting with inventory management, stock rotation, and ensuring proper food storage.
  • Staff Supervision:Supervising and coordinating the activities of junior kitchen staff, potentially including training and mentoring.
  • Menu Development:Contributing to the creation of new menu items and specials.
  • Equipment Operation:Operating and maintaining kitchen equipment properly.
  • Communication:Communicating effectively with other kitchen staff, service staff, and management.
