Chef de Partie (Greek & Mediterranean)

As a Cook at Marriott International, your main responsibility is to prepare special meals or substitute items by regulating the temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters. You will also be in charge of pulling food from freezer storage to thaw in the refrigerator, ensuring proper portioning, arrangement, and food garnish, as well as maintaining food logs. Monitoring the quality and quantity of prepared food, communicating assistance needed during busy periods, and informing the Chef of excess food items for use in daily specials are crucial aspects of your role. Additionally, you will be responsible for informing the Food & Beverage service staff of menu specials and out-of-stock menu items, ensuring the quality of food items, and preparing and cooking food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklists. Your tasks will also include preparing cold foods.
