Chef De Partie

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Chef de Partie (CDP) specializing in Chinese and Continental cuisine to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and presenting dishes in their assigned section, maintaining high culinary standards, and ensuring smooth kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook Chinese and Continental dishes according to standardized recipes and quality guidelines
• Manage and execute the food preparation in the assigned section independently
• Ensure food presentation and portioning meet company standards
• Maintain hygiene and cleanliness of the kitchen and work area at all times
• Coordinate with Sous Chef and Head Chef for daily operations and special events
• Monitor stock levels and assist in inventory management
• Train and guide junior kitchen staff and commis chefs
• Follow HACCP, FSSAI, and kitchen safety standards strictly
• Assist in new menu development and tastings when required
• Ensure timely delivery of dishes during service hours

Qualifications:

• 3–5 years of kitchen experience with expertise in both Chinese and Continental cuisine
• Culinary diploma or certification from a recognized institute preferred
• Strong understanding of international cooking techniques, sauces, and plating styles
• Ability to work independently and under pressure
• Knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene standards
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays
