Job Title: Continental Chef – Bread, Bakery & Dessert Department: Kitchen – Bakery Section Location: Raipur City, Chhattisgarh Experience Required: 2–5 Years (Continental Cuisine, Bakery & Dessert specialization) Education: Diploma in Culinary Arts / Hotel Management or relevant training Employment Type: Full-Time Job Description:We are looking for a skilled and creative Continental Chef with a strong background in bread, bakery, and dessert preparation. The ideal candidate should be passionate about baking, experienced in handling bakery operations, and capable of preparing a wide range of continental desserts and baked goods. Key Responsibilities:Prepare and present artisan breads, pastries, cakes, cookies, and continental desserts. Plan and execute a bakery menu with a focus on European and modern dessert techniques. Ensure quality, taste, and presentation meet company standards. Maintain hygiene and food safety as per FSSAI norms. Monitor inventory and ensure timely ordering of raw materials. Supervise and train junior bakery/kitchen staff as needed. Innovate and introduce new recipes to the dessert and bakery menu. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery and kitchen workspace. Required Skills:Expertise in baking breads (sourdough, baguettes, focaccia, etc.) Skilled in making pastries, tarts, mousse, and plated desserts. Familiar with oven handling, fermentation techniques, and temperature control. Knowledge of international dessert trends and plating styles. Time management and ability to work under pressure during busy hours. Preferred Background:Experience working in hotels, cafes, or restaurant chains. Hands-on experience in both hot and cold dessert preparations.
