Job Description

Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and cook basic dishes such as sandwiches, burgers, eggs, and simple sandwich items. Assist in daily mise-en-place: chopping, prepping ingredients, stocking the workstation. Follow standard recipes and portion sizes to maintain taste and consistency. Plate dishes neatly and ensure proper presentation before serving. Maintain hygiene standards as per FSSAI guidelines. Keep the kitchen clean, sanitized, and organized at all times. Manage basic inventory: inform supervisor when ingredients are running low. Support senior chefs during rush hours. Safely operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, fryers, mixers, and grills. Follow all safety rules, temperature controls, and food storage procedures. Skills & RequirementsBasic cooking skills; ability to handle simple dishes competently. Familiarity with kitchen tools and basic equipment. Good communication and teamwork. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Positive attitude and willingness to learn. Prior experience in a café, bakery, or small kitchen is an advantage but not necessary.
