Chatbot Developer

• The Application Infrastructure team is seeking a motivated Chatbot Conversational Al Engineer to join the Chatbot team
• A successful candidate will participate in all aspects of software development, working directly with chatbot experts, other developers and engineers within the team, and our internal clients who wish to adopt chatbot solutions, as part of technology service delivery
• The candidate will have a very strong technical foundation, a strategic mindset, great communication skills and the ability to collaborate well with others in a truly global team
• Act as a subject matter expert on the chatbot platform
• Developintegrations in Python and Groovy that enable virtual agents to interoperate with various systemsParticipate in every phase of the Software Development Lifecycle
• Create Generative Artificial Intelligence solutions and drive their adoption
• Understand, refine, and translate customer requirements into working software
• Create and enhance various utilities that support the chatbot platformLead design and code reviews
• Work closely with a global team of engineers, SREs, and conversational Al expertsIdentify automation opportunities and lead the way in addressing themTrain and refine intent detection models
• Continually improve production virtual agentsMeasure, demonstrate, and articulate the value of Artificial Intelligence solutions and automation
• Support POCs and product demonstrations

Primary Skills

• Strong knowledge of software design and best practices
• Deep experience with Python coding and developmentExperience with JavaScript and Node js and other software development frameworks and libraries
• Experience building Al applications, preferably Generative Al and LLM based appsExperience with Agentic Al frameworks
• Familiarity with CCD practices and experience with GitHub and Jenkins
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Deep experience with Agile development practices such as ScrumStrong background in Linux
• Solid understanding of LP and Artificial Intelligence Machine Learning concepts
• You might also haveExperience designing, creating, and interfacing with Virtual Agents using Amelia, Kore Microsoft Copilot Studio or similar platform
• Experience in development, management, and deployment of Kubernetes workloads, preferably on OpenShift
• Understanding of Auth 2.0 protocol for secure authorizationSourcing and labeling training data for ML models
• Understanding of SRE techniquesUnderstanding of Model Ops ML Ops LLM OpsSolid understanding of NLP and Al Machine Learning concepts7
