Job Title: Chartered Accountant – Taxation & Audit Location: CBD Belapur, Navi Mumbai Job Type: Full-time Experience: CA with up to 2 years of experience Department: Direct & Indirect Taxation and Auditing Firm profile : CA Firm into Direct & Indirect Tax compliance, Statutory & Tax Audits Workdays : Monday to Saturday (2nd Saturday Off) Work Timings : 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM Preferred Candidates From : Belapur, Panvel, Kharghar, Vashi, or Navi Mumbai Job Summary: The firm is looking for a recently qualified Chartered Accountant to join their Taxation & Audit team. The role offers exposure to a wide range of professional services including Direct & Indirect Tax compliance, Statutory Audits, and Tax Audits. This is an excellent opportunity to build a strong foundation in core areas of accounting and regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities: Preparation and filing of Income Tax Returns, TDS Returns, and GST Returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.) Maintain organized records and adhere to filing deadlines Assist in Tax Audit processes including preparation of Form 3CD and related documentation Support in Statutory Audit assignments – performing audit procedures, ledger scrutiny, and preparation of audit working papers Coordinate with clients for data collection, query resolution, and timely compliance Stay updated with latest amendments in Direct Tax, GST, and audit standards Draft and assist in replies to tax notices and support in handling tax assessments Managing and developing team of article trainees and middle level employees Desired Candidate Profile: Qualified Chartered Accountant (0–2 year post-qualification experience) Good understanding of Income Tax Act, GST law, and audit procedures Familiarity with accounting and tax software (e.g., Tally, SAP, Zoho, MS office applications, WINMAN, GST portal, Income Tax Utility) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently in a team environment What to expect: Exposure to a wide range of clients and industries Mentorship from experienced professionals Opportunity to develop technical and professional skills Growth path within the firm
