Chartered Accountant

As a Chartered Accountant / Cost & Finance Analyst at our TMT Steel / Manufacturing industry located in Erode, Tamil Nadu, your role will encompass a diverse range of responsibilities across Financial Planning & Analysis, Accounting / Compliance, Cost & Controls, Taxation, Banking / Treasury, Audit / Controls, and stakeholder coordination. Specifically: Key Responsibilities: - Assist in preparing annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans aligned with business goals. - Monitor financial performance, analyze variances and trends, and provide insights to management. - Ensure timely closing of books (monthly, quarterly, annual) and prepare financial statements. - Work on cost analysis, inventory valuation, product costing, and pricing with operations / plant teams. - Ensure correct and timely filings of direct and indirect taxes (GST, TDS, corporate tax, etc.). - Manage cash flows, fund flows, maintain banking relationships, and oversee working capital management. - Coordinate with internal / statutory auditors, help establish / maintain internal controls, and ensure adherence to financial policies. Qualifications & Experience: - CA (Chartered Accountant) or CMA (Cost & Management Accountant) preferred. - Freshers or Inter-qualified CA/CMA may apply. - 1 - 2 years of relevant finance / accounting / costing experience required if not a fresher. Skills & Competencies: - Strong analytical skills with attention to detail. - Proficiency in MS Excel; familiarity with Word, PowerPoint for reporting / presentations. - Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple tasks. - Good communication skills in English; knowledge of Tamil helpful in local context. - Familiarity with accounting / costing software; ERP experience is a plus. - Willingness to learn and adapt; ability to operate effectively in a manufacturing / plant environment.
