Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Chartered Accountant – GST Specialist located in Chennai. The Chartered Accountant – GST Specialist will be responsible for managing and overseeing all GST-related activities, including GST returns, audits, and compliance. The candidate will work closely with clients to ensure legal compliance, provide advice on GST matters, and prepare detailed reports. The role also involves staying abreast of changes in GST regulations, conducting research, and liaising with tax authorities as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge and expertise in GST compliance and audit processes
• Experience preparing and filing GST returns and handling TDS processes
• Proficiency in tax regulations, accounting principles, and financial reporting
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and make informed decisions
• Relevant certifications such as CA, ICWA, or similar with a focus on taxation
