communication skills. Strategic thinking is also essential.

• Significant experience of D&R, Quality processes including 8D, FMA

process as well as requirements and standards writing. .

• Valid UK driving license

Good-to-Have

• Bachelor degree in mechanical, electrical, electronics or automotive

engineering

• Experience: Over 5 years of proven experience in HV Charging and

features and controls in Battery Electric / Hybrid automotive vehicle

applications

• Knowledge of CAN/CAN-FD communication protocols
• Use of Hardware In the Loop (HIL) rigs
• Functional Safety Knowledge, ISO 26262/ Cyber security systems and

requirements, ASPICE

Role & responsibilities

• Benchmarking new technologies and features supporting electrification of PHEV and BEV products
• Responsible for the requirements to support development of new charging system features and

functions.

• Responsible for updating standards in line with existing and upcoming international standards.
• Issuing Test Procedures to ensure any new/updated high voltage charging feature or function can be

adequately tested.

• Responsible for the management of HV Charging System related software requirements, linked to the

various software functions of the system

• Responsible for the rectification of software and hardware issues related to specific High Voltage

Charging system issues.

• Accountable for the development of rigs to help with software testing, debugging and validation
• Taking logs (diagnostics) and using prognostics data to verify charging performance of features has

been met on rigs and vehicles.

• Support feature development and validation for charging systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure integration and performance.
• Participate in system-level testing and debugging.
• Assist in documentation and reporting for feature sign-off.
