As a Chargeback Analyst at Accertify, you will play a crucial role in facilitating the delivery of exceptional digital experiences by researching and decisioning on high-risk e-commerce transactions for clients across various industries. Your responsibilities will include: - Performing manual reviews of queued transactions to assess the likelihood of fraud - Prioritizing work to meet and exceed deadlines - Independently resolving complex problems through in-depth investigation and research - Communicating fraud trends and best practices with peers and leaders - Maintaining a professional demeanor when reviewing transactions or interacting with customers - Developing client-specific expertise to support a model-first vision - Utilizing fraud platform features to enhance familiarity with client risk profiles - Collaborating with a team of industry experts to monitor real-time fraud decisioning software - Conducting thorough research on transaction risk using new and existing tools - Reporting platform issues promptly and identifying potential impacts to clients - Ensuring adherence to regulatory, operational, and compliance standards To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications: - Bachelor's degree is required - 0-3 years of experience preferred - Strong interest in building a career in fraud or chargeback industry - Previous experience in e-commerce fraud prevention, investigation, or related field is a plus - Excellent organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills - Exceptional problem-solving abilities - Ability to make independent decisions confidently - Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment - Strong internet research skills and proficiency in navigating multiple systems simultaneously - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite - Availability to work morning, afternoon, and evening shifts, including non-business hours, overnights, weekends, and holidays In addition, for the first three months, the position will require full-time onsite work, transitioning to a hybrid model (three days in the office, two days remote) thereafter.
