Channel Manager (Kerala)

We are expanding our presence in the Kochi region and are looking for a seasoned professional with strong field experience to lead business development efforts in this segment.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Channel Manager based in Kochi to manage and expand our distribution network across Kerala. The role involves handling distributors, driving secondary sales, improving market coverage, and achieving sales targets through effective channel management.

Key Responsibilities

• Appoint, manage, and motivate distributors across Kerala
• Develop and execute channel sales strategies to achieve monthly and quarterly targets
• Ensure proper market coverage, outlet expansion, and product availability
• Monitor primary and secondary sales performance of distributors
• Conduct regular distributor meetings, reviews, and market visits
• Coordinate with sales executives, hub in-charges, and logistics teams
• Handle distributor grievances, credit issues, and stock planning
• Implement company schemes, promotions, and pricing strategies effectively
• Collect market intelligence on competitors, pricing, and customer feedback
• Ensure compliance with company policies and reporting systems

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong experience in Distribution Management & Channel Sales
• Good knowledge of Kerala FMCG / food distribution market
• Ability to travel extensively across Kerala
• Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
• Target-driven with good analytical and reporting abilities
• Proficient in MS Excel and basic sales reporting

Qualification

• Graduate / Diploma in Sales, Marketing, or related field
• MBA (Sales/Marketing) preferred but not mandatory

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience as Channel Manager / Distribution Manager
• Proven track record in managing distributors and driving sales growth

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
