Job Overview

:

The Channel City Head will be responsible for driving the growth and profitability of the Loan Against Property (LAP) product in a specified city or region. This leadership role involves overseeing sales, business development, channel partnerships, and the overall customer experience in the LAP segment. The role requires strong leadership, a deep understanding of the local real estate market, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders to achieve sales targets.


Key Responsibilities

:
  1. Business Development

    • Drive the business strategy for the LAP product in the city, focusing on customer acquisition, revenue growth, and market share expansion.

    • Develop and implement sales plans, marketing campaigns, and partnerships to achieve business targets.

    • Identify and build relationships with key real estate agents, brokers, financial consultants, and other distribution channels.

  2. Sales & Revenue Growth

    • Oversee a team of sales managers and loan officers to ensure sales targets and objectives are met.

    • Conduct regular meetings with sales teams to review progress, set targets, and discuss strategies to meet goals.

    • Optimize the sales process for the LAP product and provide continuous support to the sales force to enhance performance.

  3. Team Leadership & Management

    • Manage, mentor, and motivate the city sales team to achieve high performance and align with the overall business objectives.

    • Conduct training sessions to ensure the team is well-versed in LAP product features, policies, and competitive advantages.

    • Monitor performance metrics of the sales team and implement corrective actions when necessary.

  4. Channel Partnerships & Relationship Management

    • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key channel partners such as brokers, real estate developers, and financial planners.

    • Ensure effective management of the partner network, improving their productivity and ensuring compliance with company standards.

    • Monitor channel partner performance and engage in regular feedback sessions to enhance the partnership and maximize business outcomes.

  5. Customer Experience & Retention

    • Ensure high customer satisfaction through smooth processing and timely disbursement of LAP loans.

    • Handle escalated customer queries and resolve issues in a prompt and effective manner.

    • Build long-term customer relationships by ensuring repeat business and referrals.

  6. Risk Management & Compliance

    • Ensure adherence to all regulatory norms, internal policies, and procedures related to LAP offerings.

    • Work closely with the Risk and Credit teams to assess the risk profile of potential loans and ensure the quality of the loan book.

    • Monitor loan defaults and collaborate with the collections team to manage overdue accounts.

  7. Market Insights & Competitor Analysis

    • Conduct regular market research and keep up-to-date with real estate trends, competitor offerings, and customer preferences.

    • Provide feedback to product teams to help improve LAP offerings based on market needs.

    • Identify and capitalize on emerging market opportunities.

  8. Reporting & Analysis

    • Track sales performance, business growth, and key performance indicators (KPIs).

    • Prepare and submit monthly/quarterly reports to senior management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and action plans.

    • Analyze data to make data-driven decisions that support business objectives.
