Job Summary -

CGHS Billing Executive

Role & responsibilities

  • Prepare and process CGHS bills in accordance with CGHS guidelines.
  • Coordinate with departments and doctors to ensure accurate and complete documentation.
  • Submit claims to CGHS authorities and track the status of reimbursements.
  • Reconcile payments received against billed claims.
  • Maintain records of all submitted and pending claims.
  • Address queries from CGHS and resolve discrepancies.
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies and government regulations.
  • Liaise with internal departments (e.g., medical records, finance) for billing support.

Preferred candidate profile

  • 1-2 years of experience in CGHS or insurance billing in a hospital.
  • Strong understanding of CGHS billing rules and procedures.
  • Good knowledge of MS Excel and billing software.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
