About The Role
The Centre Manager - Microfinance is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a microfinance branch or centre, ensuring the delivery of high-quality financial services to clients, and achieving business targets. This role involves team leadership, client relationship management, compliance with regulatory requirements, and strategic business development within the assigned area. Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and supervise all centre operations, ensuring efficient delivery of microfinance services and products.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of field officers and support staff to achieve set targets and objectives.
  • Monitor and ensure high standards of customer service, addressing client queries and concerns promptly.
  • Oversee client onboarding, loan disbursement, and collection processes in compliance with internal policies and regulatory guidelines.
  • Develop and implement strategies to expand the client base and increase portfolio quality.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, provide training, and identify gaps within the team.
  • Prepare and present periodic operational and financial reports to senior management.
  • Ensure strict adherence to risk management protocols, credit policies, and all regulatory requirements.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with local communities, stakeholders, and partner organizations.
  • Support the introduction and integration of new products, services, and digital solutions at the centre.

  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field; Masters degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in microfinance, banking, or financial services, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Strong leadership, team management, and interpersonal s.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Sound knowledge of microfinance products, lending processes, and risk management.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and relevant financial management software.
  • Strong communication s in both local language and English.
  • High ethical standards and integrity.
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned region as required.
