Job Description

1.Section Management: Take charge of a specific kitchen section (e.g., grill, larder, pastry). Ensure all dishes are prepared and presented according to standards. 2.Food Preparation & Cooking: Prepare ingredients and cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff. Ensure timely and high-quality preparation of dishes. 3. Hygiene and Safety: Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the workstation. Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures. 4. Inventory & Stock Control: Assist in managing stock levels and ordering supplies for your section. Minimize waste and ensure proper storage of ingredients. 5. Training & Supervision: Guide and support junior kitchen staff or commis chefs in your section. Help train new staff and maintain performance standards. 6. Collaboration: Work closely with the Sous Chef and Head Chef to coordinate service. Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations. 7. Quality Control: Maintain consistency in food taste, quality, and presentation. Ensure portion control and adherence to recipes. 8. Adaptability: Be flexible to work in different sections if required. Handle special requests or dietary requirements when needed. Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month Schedule: Fixed shift Work Location: In person
