Job Description: As a CCTV & Access Control Technician, your primary responsibility will be to install, configure, and maintain electronic security systems such as CCTV cameras, biometric devices, and access control panels. Your hands-on expertise in CCTV, networking, and related security equipment will be crucial in providing reliable technical support and ensuring smooth system operations. Key Responsibilities: - Install, configure, and maintain CCTV systems including IP & Analog cameras, DVR/NVR, and associated security equipment. - Program and maintain access control systems such as biometric devices, RFID readers, card readers, door controllers, and electric locks. - Conduct routine maintenance, system upgrades, and preventive checks to ensure optimal system performance. - Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, cabling, and connectivity issues in CCTV and access control systems. - Perform site surveys, system testing, and project commissioning to meet client requirements. - Ensure proper alignment, focusing, and coverage of surveillance cameras for effective monitoring. - Maintain accurate service records, reports, and documentation of installations for future reference. - Provide technical support and training to end-users as needed to ensure system usability. - Adhere to company safety policies and industry standards during installation and service activities. Requirements: - Proven experience as a CCTV / Access Control Technician or in a similar security system role. - Strong knowledge of CCTV systems, IP cameras, DVR/NVR, access control devices, biometric/RFID systems, and power supply setups. - Good understanding of computer networking including IP configuration, LAN/WAN, and port forwarding. - Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, technical drawings, and manuals for system setup. - Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to address technical issues efficiently. - ITI / Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, or related field preferred. - Physically fit for field work and comfortable with working at heights. - Good communication skills for effective client interaction.
