Job Description

The CCTV Installation Technician is responsible for installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining CCTV systems and related security equipment. The role ensures all installations are completed efficiently, meet quality standards, and provide clients with reliable security solutions. Key Responsibilities: Install, configure, and test CCTV systems, DVR/NVR, IP cameras, and related equipment. Conduct site surveys to determine installation requirements. Lay cables, mount cameras, and set up recording systems. Perform troubleshooting, fault diagnosis, and repair of CCTV systems. Ensure proper integration of CCTV systems with access control or alarm systems. Provide technical support and training to clients on system use. Maintain accurate documentation of installations, service calls, and repairs. Ensure compliance with safety standards and company guidelines. Stay updated with the latest CCTV technologies and security solutions. Qualifications & Skills: Proven experience in CCTV installation and maintenance. Knowledge of IP networking, cabling, and electrical systems. Ability to read technical drawings and wiring diagrams. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Good communication and customer service skills. Physical fitness to work at heights and handle equipment. Diploma/ITI in Electronics, Electrical, or related field (preferred).
