CCTV Technician

As a skilled CCTV Technician at our company based in Kochi, Kerala, you will be responsible for installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of closed-circuit television systems (CCTV). Your role will involve the following key responsibilities: - Install and configure CCTV cameras, DVR/NVR systems, and related surveillance equipment. - Conduct site surveys to determine optimal camera placement and network cabling routes. - Perform regular maintenance checks, repairs, and system upgrades to ensure optimal operation of CCTV systems. - Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner. - Collaborate with security and IT teams for system integration. - Document installations, configurations, and all service activities. - Provide end-user training on system usage as required. To excel in this role, you should meet the following candidate requirements: - Minimum 1 year experience in CCTV installation and maintenance (residential/commercial/industrial setups). - ITI/Diploma in Electronics or a related technical field preferred. - Working knowledge of both analog and IP-based CCTV systems, cabling, and power supply. - Understanding of basic networking concepts related to surveillance systems. - Ability to read technical manuals and blueprints. - Good problem-solving and communication skills. - Physically fit to perform fieldwork, including working at heights and in various environments. - Must be based in or willing to relocate to Kochi, Kerala. - A valid driving license and Two Wheeler is mandatory.
