JOB DESCRIPTION: We are a dynamic multi-brand retail group with PAN India operations - Green Trends Salon. We are building brands that "Shape Lifestyles of Human Beings" . We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Learning & Development (L&D) Specialist to design, implement, and manage end-to-end training programs that empower employees at all levels across our salon retail outlets. This role will focus on enhancing skills, performance, and career growth while fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development. The ideal candidate will be passionate about people development and capable of delivering effective programs across onboarding, soft skills, behavioral competencies, leadership development, and service excellence. 2.1 Training Strategy & Program Development: Develop and implement an L&D roadmap aligned with the organizations business goals and growth strategy Conduct Training Needs Analysis (TNA) across different functions stylists, front desk, salon managers, etc. Design and curate training modules for onboarding, soft skills, customer service, grooming standards, leadership, and behavioral competencies Ensure learning programs are inclusive, engaging, and scalable across multiple salon locations 2.2 Talent Development & Succession Planning: Support career path planning, mentorship programs, and leadership pipeline development. Collaborate with HR to identify high-potential employees and future leaders Ensure all mandatory and regulatory training is completed and documented. Maintain training records and audit trails as required. Design learning journeys for salon supervisors, team leads, and area managers to build next-level leadership capabilities 2.3 Content Development & Tools: Implement - Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other digital training tools. Create engaging content using modern tools (PowerPoint, Canva, Articulate, LMS platforms) Localize content where required, including translation and cultural adaptation for regional teams Leverage blended learning techniques (classroom, e-learning, mobile learning, job aids, etc.) Maintain 100% MIS for all training programs and regulat tracks 2.4 Performance Measurement & Evaluation: Track learning effectiveness and impact using KPIs such as knowledge retention, on-the-job performance, and post-training assessments Monitor training ROI and gather feedback from participants and stakeholders to continuously improve program quality 2.4 Program Delivery & Facilitation: Facilitate training sessions in-person and virtually for various employee levels, from entry-level staff to salon leaders Work closely with the operations and HR team to ensure training schedules align with business priorities Train-the-Trainer: Develop and upskill internal trainers or supervisors to cascade training III. DESIRED CANDIDATE'S CHARACTERISTICS (MUST HAVE): Proven experience in designing and delivering soft skills and behavioral training Strong facilitation and presentation skills, with a hands-on approach to training frontline employees Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in digital learning tools and MS Office; experience with an LMS Should have high energy, self-propellent, proper communication skills, follow-up skills, Coordination skills, time-management skills and reporting skills Knowledge of the salon/retail/hospitality/service industry is strongly preferred Ability to travel across salon locations when required Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously Should be proficient in languages - English & Hindi (must) Should have capability to work in fast-paced setting Should have sharp eye for detail and flexible and adaptable to work environment, ready to work in highly ambitious work environment We value positive attitude hugely because your attitude determines your success at CavinKare's - CKR Retail Pvt Ltd.
