Industry:

• Scrub for diagnostic and interventional cath procedures, ensuring aseptic technique from draping to device deployment.
• Anticipate physician needs, passing wires, catheters, balloons, and stents with zero contamination.
• Monitor patient vitals and communicate haemodynamic changes to the cardiology team in real time.
• Operate imaging tables, injectors, and hemodynamic recorders under radiation-safety guidelines.
• Prepare, calibrate, and troubleshoot cath-lab equipment; complete pre- and post-procedure counts and documentation.
• Assist with emergency PCI, temporary pacing, and intra-aortic balloon pump insertions, activating code protocols when required.
  

Skills & Qualifications

• Diploma/BSc Nursing or Allied Health with valid Indian registration.
• 2+ years dedicated cath-lab scrub experience in a tertiary hospital.
• Mastery of sterile technique, instrument handling, and cardiovascular anatomy.
• Current BLS & ACLS certification; proficiency with haemodynamic monitoring systems.
• Working knowledge of radiation safety and infection-control standards.
• Fluent written & spoken English and Hindi; shift flexibility for on-call cases.
  

Preferred

• Certification in Cardiovascular Technology (CVT) or Critical Care Nursing.
• Experience with structural heart or electrophysiology procedures.
• Familiarity with EMR charting and digital inventory systems.
