Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cathlab Technician with a strong background in cardiac catheterization laboratory procedures. The ideal candidate will have at least 6 years of hands-on experience assisting in various interventional cardiology procedures and will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of the cathlab. Key Responsibilities Assist cardiologists in performing diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures such as angiography, angioplasty, and pacemaker implantation. Operate cathlab equipment including fluoroscopy units, pressure injectors, and monitoring systems. Prepare and maintain the cathlab suite, ensuring all equipment is sterilized and in working condition. Monitor patients’ vital signs and provide appropriate support during procedures. Manage consumables and stock levels; assist in inventory control. Ensure accurate documentation of procedures and maintenance of patient records. Adhere to infection control protocols and radiation safety guidelines. Provide post-procedure care and monitor patients as required. Participate in on-call rotations as needed. Required Qualifications Diploma in Cathlab Technology / B.Sc. in Cardiac Technology or equivalent. Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in a cathlab setting, preferably in a high-volume cardiac care center. In-depth knowledge of interventional cardiology procedures and cathlab equipment. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is preferred. Ability to work under pressure in critical care situations.
