Job Description

Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the catheterization laboratory for all procedures

Collaborate with the cardiology team to conduct diagnostic and interventional procedures, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols

Monitor and record patient vitals and procedural details accurately during interventions

Operate specialized equipment, such as imaging devices, to support cardiac procedures

Maintain a sterile environment and prepare necessary instruments and supplies

Provide direct patient care, including pre- and post-procedure assessments and education

Support emergency procedures in the lab by quickly responding to physician and team needs

Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and quality standards in all laboratory activities

Required

Completion of an accredited program in cardiovascular technology or a related field

Valid certification as a Cardiovascular Technologist (RCVT) or Registered Nurse (RN) with specialization in cardiac care

Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting cath lab equipment and technology

Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology

Excellent communication and interpersonal Skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare team members

Ability to perform well under pressure in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications
